Description
Our client is looking for experienced and reliable fitters / welders to join their team ASAP. Please note that this role is ongoing work and only 1 day a week (Saturday)
Role Overview
- Takanini, Auckland
- Saturday only (1-day work per week)
- $35 per hour
- 5am to 5pm - some days you could finish early if job is completed for the day
- Start ASAP
- Last working day before shut down period: Saturday 20th December 2025
- Return to work: Saturday 10th January 2026
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform welding, cutting and fabrication tasks on machinery & equipment
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of feedmill machinery
- Assemble and install machine guards, frames and other structural components
- Inspect and ensure machinery is safe and operational
- Read and interpret work instructions
- Work safely around moving machinery and adhere to all health & safety protocols
To Be Considered, You Must
- Have proven welding / fitting experience
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Return a clean MOJ
- Have reliable transport
- MIG / TIG tickets are favourable but not essential
