Our client, a leading manufacturer within the industrial powder coatings and production sector, is looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to join their high-performing team in Glenfield.

About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in the production process - operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The work is physical and process-driven, involving manual handling, quality checks, and adherence to established safety and production standards.
Key Details:
- Location: Glenfield, Auckland
- Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm (possible Fri/Sat work during peak periods)
- Pay Rate: $29.40 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment (manual, automatic, and semi-automatic).
- Follow all safety, quality, and production protocols.
- Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and housekeeping tasks.
- Lift and handle materials up to 25kg safely.
- Work collaboratively with a small, experienced team to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
About You
You're dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn. You take pride in your work, show initiative, and can adapt to a variety of production tasks.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation
- Mechanically minded, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Strong communication and willingness to follow structured processes.
Desirable:
- Experience within a coating, paint, or powder production environment
- Forklift License.
