A great opportunity to join a join a fantastic company as a Gantry Crane Operator. We are seeking an experienced Gantry Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating gantry cranes to move, lift, and position heavy materials within our facility or worksite. Shift time 10:30am to 7pm. This is a temporary position to be hired permanently after 3 months with pay reviews for top performers.
About you:
- Key Unit Standard: US 3800 is the standard for operating pendant or remote-controlled cranes.
- Prerequisites: Unit Standard 30072 (Slinging regular loads safely) or evidence of 50 hours/25 lifts experience.
- Health and safety conscious
- Own reliable transport to get to work
- Seeking long-term work
- Steel experience is a bonus
