ABOUT THE ROLE - We are seeking dedicated timber workers to join a supportive team. In this full time role, you will be involved in moving and packing timber, operating cutting machines, and supporting various functions across the yard. This is an excellent opportunity for those with some timber experience looking to grow their skills in a hands-on environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Moving and packing timber safely and efficiently
- Operating machinery to cut timber to size - with training provided
- Assisting in different areas of the yard as needed
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Working closely with your team to maintain smooth operations

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Prior experience working with timber - such as previously having worked in a sawmill, on site as a hammer hand, or in a frame and truss role
- Physical fitness and ability to move heavy timber safely
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation
- Forklift certification and experience is a bonus but not essential
- Strong work ethic with a proven history of commitment to roles
- Team player mindset who follows instructions and health and safety guidelines
- Ability to pass a pre employment drug test
