Stone Benchtop Fabricator & Installer A well-established local fabrication business is looking for a reliable and skilled Stone Benchtop Fabricator & Installer to join their Christchurch team.
They specialise in crafting high-quality engineered stone, natural stone, porcelain, laminate, and acrylic benchtops, and take pride in guiding customers through the process of selecting and handcrafting designs tailored to their needs.
About the role: This position offers a great mix of factory-based fabrication and on-site installation work. You’ll be involved in the full process, including:
- Cutting, polishing, shaping, and finishing stone benchtops
- Operating fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and accurately
- Reading plans, drawings, and precise measurements
- Installing benchtops on-site in new builds and renovations
- Working closely with builders, installers, and clients
- Maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail
- Keeping the workshop and work sites clean and safe

- Proven experience in stone fabrication is essential
- Confidence using cutting, polishing, and hand tools
- Comfortable with reading and interpreting plans
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A full NZ driver licence
