Bring your production and mechanical know how to a leading food manufacturing environment in Mount Maunganui. We're looking for experienced Production Operators to join a high performing team that values safety, quality, and teamwork. With both permanent and fixed term opportunities available, this is a great chance to secure stable, well paid work with real development potential.
Roles Available:
- Permanent Production Operator roles
- Fixed term Production Operator roles
- 4 on 4 off rotating roster (two 12 hour days, two 12 hour nights, four days off)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operating a range of industrial plant and production equipment
- Monitoring production quality and meeting processing standards
- Troubleshooting mechanical or process issues to maintain efficiency
- Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Working collaboratively in a fast paced manufacturing environment
What You Need:
- Proven experience in production or manufacturing (food industry experience preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Good attention to detail with solid reading, writing, and numerical skills
- Physically fit and able to work 12 hour shifts
- Positive, team focused attitude and willingness to learn
- A forklift licence and/or experience with HACCP or food safety systems is a bonus
