Job Specifics:
- Hands-on workshop work - assembly, use of hand/power tools, assisting tradespeople
- Mechanical fitting, fabrication, powder coating and general engineering tasks
- Assisting with machinery setup, maintenance, or production line operations
- Pay rates from $24-$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- Opportunities across engineering workshops, manufacturing plants, and fabrication companies in Christchurch
- Day, afternoon and night shift opportunities
Job Requirements:
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Restricted or Full Class 1 licence preferred
- Must be available for full-time work
- Mechanically minded, reliable, and physically fit
- Trade experience or interest in engineering, mechanics, or manufacturing advantageous
- Must have valid NZ work rights (work visa, residency, or citizenship)
