Laboratory Technician (Fixed Term – 6 Months)Tauranga
OneStaff Tauranga is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join a well-established biological processing facility in Tauranga. This is a 6-month fixed-term assignment offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work within a quality-focused and highly regulated environment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with processes, maintaining high standards, and contributing to the production of quality products. Previous laboratory experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.About the Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the processing and preparation of biological products while ensuring quality, compliance, and traceability standards are maintained at all times.Key Responsibilities
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures
- Maintain accurate product traceability records
- Process biological products through various preparation and packaging stages
- Perform filtration, filling, and packaging procedures
- Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks to required standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records
- Support other departments and team members as requiredQuality & Compliance
- Follow Quality Management System requirements and procedures
- Complete required compliance and quality training
- Identify and report quality concerns or non-conformances
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsAbout You
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable following structured procedures and documentation requirements
- Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and within a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Quality-focused with a commitment to maintaining high standards
