Description

Purchasing Administrator We’re seeking a Purchasing Administrator to support a busy team working across multiple product categories on a 6-month assignment.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation and make an immediate impact in a role that offers variety, problem-solving, and plenty of ownership.

About the role: Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you’ll support the wider supply team with accurate purchasing, data analysis, and admin tasks.

Your day will include:

  • Processing a high volume of purchase orders with accuracy
  • Raising and managing purchase orders across various categories
  • Updating and analysing data, including Excel work (e.g., mapping price lists)
  • Supporting the team with supply and purchasing administration
  • Prioritising workflow and managing your own tasks
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing solutions
  • Working across multiple systems in a computer-based environment

About you:

  • Experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, or a similar admin-based role
  • Strong computer literacy – especially Excel
  • The ability to pick things up quickly and work with initiative
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy, and prioritisation skills
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence working across different stakeholders and teams
