Join ANZCO Foods Waitara in this fulltime permanent Quality Assurance Coordinator position. Reporting to our Customer Quality Manager, this position will see you manage the Quality Assurance activities for manufacturing at ANZCO Foods Waitara (AGF, APF) and to ensure customer quality specifications and requirements are understood and followed to meet expectations.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Lead and support a culture of quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all quality checks are conducted at the frequency and competency level required.
- Ensure testing is completed to meet customer and regulatory requirements and that the release process is effectively managed.
- Liaise with external laboratories and equipment providers as required.
- Manage the quality databases to ensure they are maintained and up to date.
- Support the NCR process as required.
- Quality trending and reporting.
- Assist with audit closeouts as required.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- A general tertiary degree or equivalent level of knowledge.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience within a similar position, preferably within the areas of meat processing or food manufacturing.
- An understanding of quality assurance in the range of FMCG products produced at APF/AGF and the compliance requirements.
- An understanding of the interaction between Quality Assurance and Compliance.
- An understanding of the microbiological and chemical limits of our products for their relevant markets.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- An understanding of Inventory management systems.
