Description
We are seeking a Delicatessen Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day deli operations in our store. This role includes compliance responsibilities, Health & Safety, operational leadership on the floor, catering and food preparation/cooking, product merchandising, product sourcing/buying, stock management, strong Good Receipting practices, SAP experience/knowledge, and ensuring department KPIs are achieved.
Hours / Roster: Core roster: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00am – 2:30pm Flexibility to work other days when required is preferred.
Key Requirements:
- Previous deli / food retail / commercial food prep experience preferred
- Strong catering, food preparation and hot foods cooking skills
- SAP experience/knowledge and accurate Good Receipting
- Strong food safety, compliance and hygiene standards
- Experience with buying and sourcing deli products
- Hands-on leadership and strong teamwork abilities
- Good merchandising standards and customer service focus
