Bakery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department at Pak'nSave Mangere. This position requires strong leadership, deep understanding of bakery operations, product standards, financial performance, and daily production planning.

The successful applicant will have proven experience in cakes and dough production, be confident with food safety compliance, and be able to drive results through excellent team management, merchandising standards, stock integrity and waste control.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily production including dough making and cake preparation
• Lead a high performing bakery team with strong operational presence on the floor
• Maintain compliance, food safety and Health & Safety obligations
• Manage stock integrity, purchasing/buying, stock rotation and good receipting
• Deliver on department sales, GP%, waste control and KPI expectations
• Ensure strong merchandising execution and product presentation standards
• SAP related process and tasks.

What we are looking for:* Previous bakery management experience in supermarket or commercial bakery

• Strong understanding of bakery production processes and bakery financials
• Excellent communication, people leadership skills and high attention to detail
• SAP and Foodstuffs system knowledge is required.
