We currently have an opportunity for an innovative and driven Account Manager to join our Trade Me Advertising team, taking on an existing portfolio of agency and direct customers. In this role you'll build and nurture relationships with your customers; delivering data driven, value-add display advertising solutions that help them to achieve their business performance goals.

This role would suit someone with a track record of exceeding budgets and customer expectations. You'll be hungry, smart and kind, collaborating with the broader team to achieve outstanding results.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

  • Management of your portfolio by delivering targeting and innovative display advertising solutions leveraging Trade Me's huge platform and 1st party data
  • Build trust-based relationships at all levels - you'll be getting to know the ins and outs of your customers' businesses to learn how to best help them achieve the best results
  • Identify opportunities, build sales strategies and manage your customers by prioritising acquisition, retention and growth
  • Dive straight into our extensive, award-winning data to provide next-level compelling advertising solutions to your customers

What you will bring to our team:

  • 1+ years experience at the Account Manager level, preferably with Publisher, Agency or Marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of digital media sales
  • Proven experience and results in selling, negotiation and business development. You listen to customers and deliver based on their needs, whilst maximising revenue opportunities and achieving targets
  • A strong drive for results, always backed up with a planned strategic approach on how you will achieve these at a customer and portfolio level
  • A great attitude - you'll love working with people and get a kick out of helping your customers. You are reliable, trustworthy and deliver on what you say you will
  • The ability to work well as part of a team, share ideas and contribute towards team and wider business goals
