We're pretty proud to say Trade Me Motors is Aotearoa's most frequented platform for buying and selling all things vehicles. We're currently looking for an Auckland based Client Executive to develop strategic, professional relationships with Trade Me Motors' largest clients.

As the primary point of contact you'll be responsible for assisting your premium clients to achieve optimum performance from advertising on Trade Me Motors by leveraging our data assets such as MotorWeb and AutoGrab and improving overall dealership performance through a combination of Trade Me solutions.

You will have an expert understanding of the Dealership model across NZ and be able to lead out and predict future trends and changes. This role manages a portfolio of our largest clients across the Auckland region so regular travel is required. A fully expensed company car is provided as a tool of the trade.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

  • Build and maintain strong, effective and professional long term client partnerships across all job levels within a dealership from CEO through to Sales Managers & Sales staff
  • Develop and maintain expert market and industry knowledge to be viewed as a trusted advisor by your clients
  • Develop client specific insights from the data you gather from PowerBi, Salesforce, AutoGrab, and other data sources
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with Trade Me's objectives
  • Identify, develop and implement new business opportunities using our extensive data set; share relevant insights based on Trade Me data
  • Support Sales Managers and General Sales Manager with commercial messaging, marketing communications, GoToMarket plans, new product rollouts and sales initiatives

What you will bring to our team:

  • Seven or more years' experience in a similar Key Account Management role from within the automotive industry
  • Experience in selling within an ecommerce, digital media, advertising or Motoring industry environment
  • Energy, drive and enthusiasm for excellent results. You can work independently and know how and when to close a sale
  • Skilled at building relationships with a consultative approach
  • A great communicator - able to explain ideas simply & clearly, listen carefully to others, and confident to share ideas with others
  • Agility to manage and champion change within your role and within the business
