ENGINEERING SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE – WELDING PRODUCTS
Want to step off the tools but stay connected to the trade? We’re looking for someone with solid welding or fabrication experience who’s keen to move into a sales and customer service role, where your technical know-how really counts.
About the Role: Join a well-established, NZ-owned engineering supplier with a loyal customer base. You’ll be the go-to person for welding advice, helping customers find the right gear, managing orders, and keeping things running smoothly in the shop. It’s a great mix of sales, service, and hands-on support, ideal for someone who enjoys helping others and being part of a tight-knit team.
What You’ll Do:
- Help customers with welding advice and product recommendations
- Split your time between sales, account service, and shop operations
- Handle counter and phone enquiries and support the day-to-day running of the branch
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong welding or fabrication background, you get the trade
- A friendly, down-to-earth approach and genuine people skills
- Organised, reliable, and ready to learn the ropes on the sales side
The Offer:
- Full-time, permanent role (Mon–Fri — no weekends)
- Supportive, experienced team and a clear career path
- Ongoing training and development
- Immediate start available
If you’re ready to swap the helmet for a headset (but still talk welding every day), apply now or call Liam on 021 368 813 for a confidential chat.
