WaterForce Christchurch Internal Technical Sales and Stores

WaterForce is a leading provider of water and pumping systems with branches across New Zealand. Our Christchurch trade shop and stores team supports a wide range of work, including rural, civil, and municipal water projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys a mix of administration, customer interaction, and hands on stock work.

This is a full time role based in our Christchurch branch.

About the role:

You will be the engine room for our trade shop and stores. The work is admin heavy and relies on accuracy, clear communication and good follow through. Your day will include:

• Processing inwards goods and receipting stock
• Managing stock ordering and supplier follow ups
• Allocating stock to jobs and supporting project and service teams
• Point of sale work and counter support for customers and contractors
• Entering packing slips and creditor invoices, assisting with monthly creditors
• Answering calls and coordinating urgent pickups or dispatches
• Maintaining tidy, well organised stores and helping with dispatch when needed

The role suits someone who likes knowing how things fit together, keeps on top of details and enjoys being part of a team that gets things done.

What you will bring:

You do not need deep technical water knowledge on day one, we will teach you the product and system side. What matters is the way you work.

• Confident communicator who enjoys helping people
• Strong administration skills with accurate data entry
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Reliable, organised, and good at managing competing tasks
• Physically capable of handling stock and general stores work
• Honest, motivated, and keen to learn
• A positive team player who takes pride in doing things well
