Our client is currently seeking skilled Commercial Carpenters for an ongoing project in Christchurch. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters looking for steady work, competitive pay, and an immediate start.
The role involves a mix of formwork, finishing, and timber framing on commercial builds and is ideal for those who take pride in precision and quality.
What’s on offer:
- $30–$35/hour, depending on experience and skills
- Long-term work on consistent and well-managed projects
- Assistance with accommodation for those relocating
- Full-time hours - 45+ hours per week

Work will include:
- Timber framing and structural carpentry
- Formwork for concrete foundations and walls
- Finishing work to a high commercial standard
- Reading and working from plans and specifications
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and productive job site
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience in commercial carpentry
- Full set of tools and reliable transport
- Ability to interpret plans and work independently
- Site Safe
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
