Commercial Carpenter | South Canterbury/Ashburton
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join a team working on a large-scale commercial build in South Canterbury. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent work on a well-structured project with a strong pipeline ahead.
What’s on offer:
- $28–$34 per hour, depending on experience
- Ongoing work on a major commercial project

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks including formwork, framing, and finishing
- Accurately read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Assist with concrete preparation, boxing, and structural installations
- Complete fit-out and finishing work to a high standard
- Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
- Follow all health & safety procedures and contribute to a safe worksite
- Work both independently and collaboratively within the site team
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on site
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in commercial carpentry
- Confident across formwork, framing, and finishing
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
