Millbrook Furniture is a long-established joinery and furniture workshop based in Hastings, with a reputation built over more than eight decades of high-quality work. We collaborate with leading architects, designers, and businesses to deliver bespoke furniture and interior joinery for residential and commercial environments.

Our team of cabinetmakers brings deep trade knowledge and a shared commitment to precision, durability, and craftsmanship. Using proven traditional techniques alongside carefully selected timbers and materials, we create furniture and joinery designed to perform and endure.

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Joiner to join our small, high-performing team based in Parkvale.

This is a full-time position in a clean, modern workshop, working on a variety of household joinery and bespoke projects.

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am - 5:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm

About the Role

You'll be involved in the production of high-quality, custom joinery, working across both timber and panel materials. This role suits someone who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys problem-solving on complex, engaging projects.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Joiner with relevant industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Competent in timber and panel production
• Experience with bespoke/custom work
• Organised and able to manage workflow efficiently
• Leadership ability and confidence taking initiative
• A team player who is also a self-starter
• Full driver's licence

Applicants must be currently living in New Zealand and legally able to work (we welcome candidates on visas with no work restrictions).
