Bakery Manager

The Role:

In this hands-on role you will inspire and lead a friendly team of currently 6, alongside having full oversight of the operations and success of the department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with suppliers.
• Stock control.
• Assisting in ensuring sales and GP targets are met.
• Monitoring sales.
• Controlling departmental costs and managing credits.
• Responsibilities for promotions and pricing programs.
• Merchandising.
• Rostering and staffing.
• Comply with our Healthy and Safety and Food Safety policies.

What we're looking for:* Scratch bread baking experience.

• Be able to make cakes, muffins and pastries etc.
• Have an eye for quality and a flair for display.
• Be able to plan and implement production plans and promotions.
• Creativity and ambition to create a bakery offering known as the place to go in Warkworth!
• Be flexible with working hours / days – must love early starts!
• Have Computer Skills (experience in SAP / excel) - preferred, however full training will be provided.
• Be a good communicator.
• Physically fit and healthy, computer literate and have retail bakery experience.
