Experienced Baker

Permanent Fulltime Position 

40 - 45 Hours Per Week

At New World Hillcrest, we're looking for a Bakery All-Rounder to join our passionate team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering 40 hours per week.

What the role involves:

You'll be producing a variety of baked goods from scratch — including breads, cakes and desserts. You'll work with commercial ovens, mixers, and provers in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. This is physical work involving early starts, lifting heavy ingredients, and contributing to daily production targets. Availability to work early mornings and at least one weekend day is expected.

Who we're looking for:

We welcome applications from experienced bakers. You must have a strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-focused attitude. Knowledge of NZ Food Safety and Health & Safety practices is an advantage.
