With are currently seeking a qualified or equally experienced Butcher to be part of the amazing team at New World Mangawhai!

Butcher Role:

• Ensure the meat cases and freezers are appropriately stocked and maintained
• Correctly & efficiently slice and cut all meat
• Assist in the traying up of meat as required
• Maintain daily operation in collaboration with the Butchery & Seafood Manager
• Maintain an exciting, fresh, customer experience driven serve over
• Ensure all customer special orders are prepared to agreed timeframes
• Follow H&S, Food Safety, and store procedures  
• Ensure high presentation standards for the butchery department & store

• Must be qualified or have equivalent experience in butchery
• Customer experience focused
• A passion for developing and maintaining a full, creative, fresh serve over
• Reliable, honest and be a good team player
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Confidence & maturity to work unassisted at times
