Truck Washer

The Role

We currently have a permanent position available for a Fleet Wash Support person to work Monday - Friday.

Using your experience within the transport industry, and/or knowledge of truck and equipment maintenance, you will support our Fleet Management Team in ensuring the presentation of our Fleet is consistently maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for someone with a “Can do. Will do” attitude who would like to join the team at Booth’s Logistics and able to offer the following:

• Ensure our vehicles are cleaned correctly inside and out, while respecting the belongings of any of our drivers.
• Ensure the wash bay is kept clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
• Ensure all chemical and cleaning consumables are stocked and cleaning equipment is kept in working and tidy order.
• Keep records/photographs of any visible damage to vehicles as they come in to be washed – report to the Fleet Manager.
• Ensure that the end results are of a high standard.
• Comply with and promote the Company’s Health & Safety Policies.

All applicants are required to undergo and pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening and will need to have NZ/Australian residency, or a valid NZ work visa.
