About the role

We are seeking an experienced cleaner/laundry assistant to join our fabulous team at Highlands village located in Highland Park, East Auckland.

We have a permanent part-time role available working the following shifts:

Cleaning on Thursday/ Friday 7am to 3pm and Laundry on Saturday / Sunday 8.30am to 1.30pm = 24hrs wk

You must be available to work both weekend days.

• Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents
• Working as a laundry assistant
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
• Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect
• Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed

About you We are looking for an experienced Cleaner /Laundry Assistant with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of our team to provide support in maintaining our care home to a high standard.

Some things that will support your application include:

• Good level of fitness
• Previous cleaning / laundry experience ideally in Aged Care is highly beneficial.
• Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in our residents’ lives
