Highly valued, working on our longstanding 3 Waters contract, our Electrical Team specialises in electrical controls, communication, monitoring and IOT devices.
You’ll be part of the action from start to finish using your creativity designing, creating electrical drawings, developing control philosophies, functional descriptions, programming, installation and commissioning automation solutions across the Nelson / Tasman region, working within both inner city and rural locations.
No two days are the same and you’ll be encouraged to learn new skills, push your boundaries and explore new avenues.

The ability to communicate concisely, clearly and accurately to our clients and within the team is key.
Ideally suitable candidates will have:
- NZ registration as an Electrician
- Practical experience of operating and maintaining 3 Waters Electrical and SCADA infrastructure or similar
- Competence with Instrumentation, PLCs, RTU’s, Telemetry Networks, IOT Devices and control equipment
- Aptitude to work with Microsoft platforms, Apps and various IT devices
- Ability to plan, install and commission small and medium sized projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong awareness and excellent understanding of Health and Safety and be competent and comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in hazardous areas
- Experience in complex fault diagnostics and repairs; programming of Aveva System Platform, Kingfisher
- Ability to operate autonomously without supervision
You’ll be provided with a commuter vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, specialist tools, and all Health and Safety equipment required for the role. Training will be given for all areas where you do not currently have the experience in relation to specific brands of equipment in our network.
We have an on-call roster, and you will be required to participate and will be renumerated for this.
