This role is for someone registered with the EWRB and at least 2 years experience working as a qualified electrician. Solar installation work will cover both residential and commercial... think new builds, renos, farms etc!

Role:
Is for an individual with an NZ EST License and keen as to step into the growing solar division of a respected, nation wide company. We are looking for someone who has a solid interest in solar to lead commercial and residential installation projects. Solar endorsement is desirable - however, the right applicant will be put through the training if necessary. You will be responsible for leading the installation of solar PV systems, battery storage and EV chargers.
This is a permanent, full-time role paying up to $45 per hour (depending on experience) with a 40 hour work week. This role is based mostly on-site in Wanaka - Central Otago and will require going from site to site within Wanaka as necessary, and is looking to be filled as soon as possible.
Minimum Requirements:
- NZ Electrical Service Technician (EST) Registration
- Relevant experience as an EST (minimum 2+ total years experience as an EST) with strong knowledge within the industry
- Good communication skills and a team player with the ability to lead and run jobs independently
- Comfortable working at heights - training provided if needed
