Electrician or Electrical Supervisor - Commercial & Industrial Projects (Queenstown) Hays Recruitment is partnering with a well-established electrical company based in Queenstown that is expanding its team. Specialising in commercial electrical projects, the company is now also taking on industrial work and is seeking either a Registered Electrician or an Electrical Supervisor, depending on experience.

The Role:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial and industrial environments.
- Work may include commercial and industrial control systems - experience in controls will be advantageous.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Supervisor Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate electrical projects and site activities.
- Lead and support a team of electricians to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be EWRB registered.
- Must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work is preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is desirable for the supervisor role.
