About Gas Appliance Specialists A family-owned company that is Auckland’s authorised service centre for Rinnai New Zealand. We install, service, and repair a wide range of residential and light commercial heating and water heating systems.

Our work includes:

• Ducted gas and ducted heat pump heating systems
• Highwall heat pump installations
• Ventilation and ducting systems
• Gas and heat pump hot water systems
• Gas continuous flow water heaters
• Gas fires
• Servicing and repairs across major heating and cooking brands

The Role This is a hands-on installation role with a variety of work across residential and light commercial installations. You will:

• Install, wire and commission ducted heat pump systems (new builds, renovations and retrofits)
• Install, wire and commission highwall heat pump units
• Undertake a variety of associated electrical work on appliances
• Carry out electrical connections in accordance with NZ regulations
• Fault-find and troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Work alongside with our duct installers and gasfitters
• Liaise with customers
• Complete compliance documentation and commissioning paperwork
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism
• Work directly with customers to deliver a great experience

What We’re Looking For

• Current NZ Electrical Registration & Practising Licence (EWRB)
• Experience installing ducted and highwall heat pump systems
• Strong understanding of NZ electrical and safety standards
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, organised, and professional
• Team player
• Full NZ driver’s licence
• Permanent NZ residency
