We're seeking a Field Services Manager to lead our Field Services teams and drive operational excellence across network operations and customer projects. This is a senior leadership role focused on profitability, performance, safety, and strong customer relationships.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the profitability of the business unit
  • Leading day-to-day Field Services operations to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
  • Managing planning, scheduling, technical resources and documentation across all contracts/projects under one's responsibility
  • Coordinating delivery of works for network operations and external customers
  • Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement KPIs
  • Driving a strong culture of Safety Leadership
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships

What You'll Bring

  • 5–10 years' experience in electricity distribution or related activities
  • Strong leadership and staff management experience, with a high focus on safety and development
  • Contract management experience in a service delivery environment (desirable)
  • Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of distribution systems up to 33kV
  • Experience with PLC, SCADA, protection and communications systems
  • Knowledge of generation and distribution equipment (LV and HV)
  • Strong understanding of network systems analysis
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Customer service focus both internal and external
  • Proficiency in MS Office

The ability to lead projects from concept through to completion meeting all time and monetary requirements

  • A proactive, solutions-focused and commercially aware mindset
  • You will be a confident leader who can mentor, motivate and empower others, while exercising sound technical and commercial judgement.

Qualifications

  • Registered Electrician or Line Mechanic with current Practising Licence
  • Electrical Trade and Advanced Trade Certificates/Qualifications
  • Live Line experience – advantageous but not essential
