THE GIG:

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded North Canterbury electrical business that's building a reputation for high-quality workmanship and doing things properly.

This is a unique opportunity to come in as the first official team member, working directly alongside the owner. You won't just be another electrician on the books — you'll be a key part of the business as it grows.

The work is a solid mix of:

• Residential new builds and renovations
• Maintenance and upgrade work
• Light commercial projects

They're focused on the Waimakariri region, looking after their local, but willing and able to help central as well if required.

This role suits someone who:

• Takes pride in their work

• Is keen to be part of building something, not just clocking in THE GOODS:

• $40 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)
• Company vehicle, phone, and uniform provided
• Strong pipeline of local work
• High-trust environment — no micromanagement

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF:

• NZ Registered Electrician with current practising licence (EWRB)
• Confident working independently and running jobs
• Strong workmanship and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Can pass a drug screen

Bonus points if you have:

• Mains parallel endorsement
• Heat pump installation experience
