THE ROLE:
As a Foreperson in the Sports & Mowing division, your main focus will be leading and supporting your team, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high standards of health and safety. You'll take a hands-on approach, managing resources effectively to deliver excellent service to our clients.
Based at our Henderson depot, this role is Monday-Friday, 6:30 am-3:00 pm, and includes a manual work vehicle, laptop, mobile, and full PPE.
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven experience leading a grounds or turf maintenance team
- Hands-on with mowing and weedeating
- Excellent computer skills with strong planning and scheduling skills to manage daily and weekly maintenance programs, Job Costing and Works Order Management
- Competent operating and maintaining ride-on mowers, tractors, and small plant equipment
- Able to train, motivate, and support your crew to deliver quality results
- Sound knowledge of health & safety requirements and site compliance
- Ability to build and influence strong relationships with clients and internal key stake holders
- Great communications skill - both verbal and written
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full NZ Driver's License with a Manual transmission.
- Growsafe and/or Site Safe certification advantageous
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and other checks
