The Opportunity
Programmed is looking for an experienced Ride-On Mower Operator to help maintain passive open spaces across Auckland. This role focuses on the upkeep of parks, berms, road verges, and general public open spaces - not sports fields.
In this role, you will:
- Operate ride-on mowers safely and efficiently across passive turf areas
- Carry out mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn maintenance
- Assist with basic garden and grounds work when needed
- Complete daily machinery checks, cleaning, and fault reporting
- Work alongside a supportive team delivering high-quality open space services
About You
You enjoy working outdoors, take pride in a tidy finish, and don't mind getting stuck in whatever the weather.
You ideally have:
- Proven experience operating commercial ride-on mowers
- Knowledge of passive turf care and mowing practices
- A clean NZ driver licence (manual preferred)
- Good fitness, reliability, and a solid work ethic
- A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
