About the role

We're on the lookout for a Casual Gardener to join our team. This is a physical role keeping our Village gardens flourishing and community areas vibrant and we will look to train and develop the right person! This opportunity would be perfect for someone who loves the outdoors, enjoys physical work, and happy to learn gardening/horticulture.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

• Ensure gardens are lush and vibrant for all to enjoy
• Assist with the general upkeep of the grounds and facilities
• General maintenance and handy person services for our residents

About you

You may be looking for a career change or wanting to build your practical skills in Gardening. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right person.

• A keen interest in building a career as a Gardener and/or have a passion for plants.
• Empathy, patience and motivation to deliver an outstanding service for our residents
• Reliable, super organised and have good Time Management
• This is a physical role and requires a good level of fitness (heavy lifting involved)
• Confidence using hand, power tools and operating maintenance machinery
• Hold or working towards a Grow Safe certificate (advantageous however not essential)
• Available to work weekends
