Experienced and qualified gardeners wanted for ongoing horticultural work across Wellington. If you're hands-on, reliable, and take pride in high-quality outdoor spaces, we want to hear from you.
Roles Available:
We are recruiting skilled gardeners with formal horticulture training for upcoming starts.
What You'll Be Doing:
- General gardening and grounds maintenance
- Planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control
- Identifying plant health issues and applying treatments
- Operating small gardening tools and equipment safely
- Working independently or as part of a team on client sites
What You Need:
- NZ Certificate in Horticulture Level 3 minimum with proven experience, or
- NZ Certificate in Horticulture Level 4 (graduate level acceptable)
- Class 1 Full minimum (ability to drive manual preferred)
- Growsafe certification (highly beneficial)
- Practical, hands-on gardening experience
- Strong plant knowledge and attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Reliable transport to get to and from work
