Experienced Landscaper / Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Hard Landscaper or Foreman to join a reputable and growing landscaping business delivering high-quality projects across the Nelson Tasman region. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a confident tradesperson who can lead from the front and take ownership of site delivery. Roles Available:

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Timber structures and outdoor builds
• Paving and hard landscaping finishes
• Concreting and formwork
• Retaining walls
• Foreman or site leadership responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading and working alongside a landscaping crew on residential and commercial projects
• Reading plans, setting out jobs, and managing daily site activities
• Carrying out high-quality hard landscaping work
• Operating machinery, including diggers (where experienced)
• Managing materials, tools, and site logistics
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are being met on site and all required H&S documentation is completed accurately
• Ensuring jobs are completed on time and to specification
• Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and management

What You Need:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in hard landscaping or a specialised area (timber, paving, concreting, or retaining walls)
• Class 1 Driver Licence (essential)
• Class 2 Driver Licence (advantageous)
• Digger / excavator operating experience (advantageous)
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage sites
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and safety focused
