Are you a hands-on, problem-solving pro who loves a good challenge and the great outdoors? Do you have a passion for ensuring things run smoothly and looking after all the little details? We’re looking for a Maintenance Generalist to help keep Tekapo Springs and Tekapo Stargazing shining bright!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Keeping Things Running: Ensure equipment, machinery, and property are in top shape—because happy customers start with a well-maintained space! From regular maintenance to ensuring smooth operations, you’ll be part of the go-to crew that keeps everything functioning like clockwork across this 7-day operation.
• Snow & Ice Fun: Get involved in seasonal activities like snow grooming, Zamboni driving, and keeping the winter wonderland running smoothly! The perfect gig if you love the snow as much as they do! ??
• Safety First: Maintain a safe environment for everyone by adhering to health and safety standards and being the first to jump in during an emergency (yes, we need a superhero!).
• Team Player: You’ll work alongside the Maintenance Manager and an awesome team, ensuring everything runs to perfection. Plus, you’ll get your hands on a wide variety of cool tools, vehicles, and machinery—no two days will be the same!

What You Need:

• Essential Skills: You’re safety-conscious, hands-on, and experienced with plant equipment. You’ll have your Wheels, Tracks, and Forklift Endorsements (desirable) and a great attitude when it comes to problem-solving and learning (essential).
• Great Attitude: You’re a team player with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail. You’ll work with pride to ensure the property is always looking and functioning at its best.
• Cool with Snow: If you’re into winter activities, you'll love the opportunity to help with snow grooming, ice rinks, and even snowmaking when conditions are right!

Bonus Points:

• Have experience in the tourism industry? Great.
• Got a relevant trade qualification? Even better!
