Description
We’re all about community whether it is our Centre whanau or our wider community all are equally important to us! We provide a safe learning environment for our tamariki and for some - that starts the minute they leave home and jump in the Centre pahi/van on their way to Learning Adventures Maraenui.
We’re looking for a Support kaimahi/Centre pahi/van Driver to join our team 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
What your day looks like:
- Daily pick up and drop offs for tamariki as per the schedule in a safe manner.
- Transport tamariki to and from Centre excursions as required in a safe manner.
- Complete daily/monthly checks and maintenance on the pahi/van when required.
- Ensuring the pahi/van register is signed daily by parents and administration is completed and up to date.
- Be a conduit between whanau and Kaiako to ensure messages are passed on.
- Ensure the children in your care are safe at all times abiding by all Health and Safety requirements.
- Operate the provided vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.
- Support the tima and tamariki by covering lunch breaks in the learning environment and other tasks when needed
What we’re looking for in you:
- You have a full and clean driver’s license.

- You can develop and maintain positive professional relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
