Certified Load Pilot - C1

Our Auckland Branch is looking for a highly skilled and certified Load Pilot to join our team of transport experts! As a Load Pilot, you'll be responsible for escorting and coordinating the movement of heavy and over-dimensional freight. You'll work closely with our Drivers and Dispatchers to ensure that every load reaches its destination safely, legally and efficiently. We transport a variety of machines and freight, so you will enjoy days that challenge your skill set. Key Responsibilities:

• Escorting heavy haulage and over-dimensional loads
• Performing route assessments and hazard identification
• Coordinating with drivers and road authorities
• Managing traffic control and ensuring public road safety
• Maintaining clear communication throughout all stages of transport
• Adhering to legal, regulatory, and safety standards

Essential Requirements:

• Load Pilot Certification (Class 1) and full clean driver’s licence
• Proven experience in heavy haulage and over-dimensional load escorting
• Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and permit requirements
• Ability to travel long distances and work flexible hours
• Strong communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills
