Class 5 Truck Drivers

C3 are looking for permanent and casual drivers who like a bit of variety in the cargo that they haul on a daily basis. If you are a skilled truck driver with a class 5 licence and think you would enjoy short haul work around the port, then we would like to hear from you. Our permanent roles offer a minimum hour's guarantee with rates from $33.95 an hour for fully competent class 5 drivers with a minimum of 12 months experience.

To build our motivated team we seek drivers who have the flexibility to be available for shifts across our 24/7 port operations. Shifts can be between 8-12 hours duration. You will be expected to operate a variety of different truck makes on any given day. Experience using road ranger transmission is preferred and shifts will involve carting varied cargoes including containers and bulk products on a short haul.

If an applicant has administrative and dispatching experience or a desire to learn these skills, there is the potential, for the right applicant to provide back up for our Dispatcher.

Essential requirements for the position are:

? Proven truck driving experience 

? Flexibility and reliability

? Good communication skills

? Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised 

? Ability to meet deadlines

? Willingness to follow standard operating procedures

? Strong Health & Safety focus & adherence to all H&S procedures

? Class 5 driver licence
