The Role We are seeking a highly competent, confident HIAB operator .
You will be trusted to:
- Operate truck-mounted cranes/HIABs to deliver timber, building materials, and prefabricated frames/trusses.
- Assess site safety, including crane stability and overhead hazards, on varied job sites.
- Secure loads and manage documentation
- Be the face of the business delivering construction materials to site
- General yard duties when required.
What You’ll Bring
- License : Full NZ Class 4 Driver License w/ hiab experience ( min 2+ yrs )
- Technical Skill: Deep knowledge of load security, weight distribution, and site hazard awareness.
- Reliability: A clean driving record and physical fitness for heavy lifting.
- Mindset: A calm, solution-focused communicator who takes pride in precision.
