Class 5 Driver

What are we looking for?

At Hall's, we are looking for a reliable and flexible Class 5 Drivers to join our team at our Christchurch depot, who can be the friendly face of our business and deliver chilled or frozen freight along with outstanding service for our customers and their customers.

In this role you will see yourself delivering chilled & frozen food to businesses within the wider Canterbury region, this will include manual lifting and hand unloads, checking temperature settings, ensuring accuracy of documentation and completing daily vehicle checks.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

• A full & clean Class 5 license, with a minimum of 3 years NZ Class 5 driving experience
• Experience driving truck & trailer, semis, and b-trains
• Have a good geographical knowledge of the Canterbury and surrounding region.
• Have a working knowledge of Eroad & TruckMate
• To be committed to working Monday through Friday (with the occasional Saturday where required). Rough starts times are ordinarily 05:30.
• We are after someone who is self-motivated with a positive attitude and has the level of physical fitness required for this kind of role.
