Class 2 Driver with WTR
We’re currently seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers with WTR endorsement for civil and construction work across Dunedin. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across different sites and being part of a solid crew delivering quality civil projects.
Location: Central Dunedin, Dunedin Start date: Immediate start available Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour (paid weekly, depending on experience) The Role In this role, you’ll be working across a range of civil and construction sites throughout the Dunedin region. You’ll be responsible for driving a Class 2 truck, operating machinery when required, and supporting crews on the ground to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving a Class 2 truck to and from civil and construction sites
- Operating wheels, tracks, and rollers (WTR) machinery
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials
- Supporting site crews with general labouring duties when required
- Working across civil, roading, and drainage projects
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for reliable drivers who are confident on site, safety focused, and happy to get stuck in with the team when needed.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Full NZ Class 2 licence with WTR endorsement
- Recent Class 2 driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Dunedin roads and surrounding areas
- Confidence with load safety and route planning
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Good references from previous driving roles
- Physical fitness and willingness to assist on site
- A reliable, safety-focused, team-first attitude
