Driver/Operator

About the Role

Night shift refueling and operating support for heavy machinery on large construction project. Responsible for ensuring machinery is refueled correctly and on time while maintaining high health & safety standards. Work involves climbing up and down machinery — you must be physically fit and comfortable with this. Strong focus on safety

Hours

5pm – 1am (approx.), Monday to Saturday Likely to settle into Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays (to be confirmed with the successful applicant)

What We Offer

Fixed-term contract for the duration of the project (expected multi-year role). Competitive hourly rate $25–$30 p/h. Opportunity to gain a Class 4 licence down the track. Training and support provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

Strongly prefer candidates reside in the Horowhenua district. Current Class 2 licence preferred. We will support the right candidate to obtain their Class 2 if they do not have it. Physically fit and able to climb machinery repeatedly. Reliable, safety-focused attitude and good work ethic. Previous experience in construction, driving, or refueling is an advantage but not essential.
