Class 2 Truck Driver - Wellington

About the Role  We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver based out of our busy Wellington hub to join our team. Ideally you will have at least 6 months' experience driving Class 2 as well as experience in temperature-controlled transport, as you will be working with chilled and frozen goods. Being the face of Big Chill out on the roads, you will also bring to our team excellent communication and customer service skills.  This is a full-time role, working Monday to Fridays starting at 6:00am, with rostered Saturdays. Key responsibilities include: 

• Delivery and pick up of chilled and frozen products across the Wellington region 
• Providing assistance to the Stores team to present product for loading/unloading 
• Collaborating with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries  
• Compliance in delivery times and temperature control of customer goods

About You 

• Qualified Class 2 driver with at least 6 months' experience 
• Experience working in frozen/temperature-controlled environments  
• Demonstrable organisational and time management abilities 
• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service at all times  Strong understanding of the importance of Health, Safety and compliance
