Land Rover Technician

Land Rover Technician Our client is looking for an experienced Land Rover Technician to join their expanding workshop in Christchurch. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong JLR expertise who enjoys working across a wide variety of vehicles while supporting the development of a growing team.

About the role: You’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles — with a specialist focus on Land Rover/JLR products, but also working on a wide range of brands from everyday models through to high-end European vehicles. The role includes sharing your technical knowledge with the team, completing training to stay current with manufacturer requirements, and maintaining high-quality workmanship in a modern workshop environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles (Land Rover/JLR and other brands)
• Providing specialist technical knowledge to support and upskill the team
• Completing required training to maintain and extend JLR product knowledge
• Ensuring high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
• Working independently and collaboratively in a busy workshop
• Maintaining clear service records and documentation

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification or equivalent automotive certification
• Extensive, proven Land Rover–specific experience
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive repair
• High standard of workmanship and pride in quality
• Ability to mentor and support other technicians
• Current full driver’s licence
