AVS A/S Series Waterproof Remote Control Whether you have a new or old model AVS car alarm you can purchase extra or replacement remotes. All AVS car alarms are originally provided with two remote controls and extras can be added. If you have a lost or stolen remote it can be coded out of the system by an AVS installer to maintain the security of the alarm. Depending on the model of AVS car alarm you have you will need either an existing working remote or the PIN code for a new remote to be coded in to the alarm.
