In the lowest setting, the plastic at the back bends under the weight of a slim laptop. The computer wobbles and will not stay still. If it is in a higher setting, then there is no purchase on the bottom part of the lip and the laptop will slide forward and off of the stand. I would not recommend a stand like this in plastic.
