The Watch Factory offers secure payment via PING and Afterpay. PING allows you to make a secure payment from your bank account, credit/debit card or from your PING balance. Afterpay allows you to purchase items and pay them off in four fortnightly interest-free payments.

HOW DOES AFTERPAY WORK?

Paying with Afterpay lets you purchase items and pay them off in for fortnightly interest-free repayments. If you select to pay with Afterpay, your order will be posted to you straight away and you will have eight weeks to pay off the purchase. Once you make an account with Afterpay, payments will be deducted from your credit card or bank account on a nominated day every 2 weeks. Afterpay will send you text messages before they withdraw the funds, and unlike a credit card, you don’t have to worry about making payments, Afterpay automatically withdraws from your linked account. If this is your first time using Afterpay, you’ll be asked to make an account and give your phone, bank and address details. If you already have an account, you’ll just be asked to sign in. If you’ve used Afterpay before, you won’t have to make an immediate payment, and the payments will be automatically deducted in four equal amounts every two weeks. If this is the first time you’re using it, you’ll be required to make one of the four payments immediately and then one every two weeks after that.

The Watch Factory offers secure Express shipping to every address in New Zealand for $15 per order. We use Australia Post’s International Express network which allows you to track your order.

For the security of your order, your parcel will need to be signed for when delivered. If no one is home to sign for your parcel, it will be taken to your local post office for you to pick up at a convenient time.

How long will shipping take?

• Regional & Rural Areas: 4 – 8 Working Days

Orders are dispatched the next business day after you've placed your order. Your order will take 2 to 4 business days to be delivered to you if you live in major cities, towns and metro areas. If you live in a regional or remote area, it will take longer. During peak holiday times, deliveries may take longer. On rare occasions, some parcels may be delayed by New Zealand customs.

The Watch Factory proudly offers a 30 day returns periods where you can send your item/s back for a refund or exchange. If you’re not happy with your purchase, or it’s not what you expected, simply send it back to get your money back.

Returns policy

To be eligible for a return, the item/s must be returned within 30 days from delivery in an unused, undamaged and unaltered condition with all original packaging. Please read our full Returns Policy for complete details.

For your return to be eligible for a refund or exchange, your item(s) must be:

i) Unworn and undamaged, and; ii) In its original state with no scratches or defects, and; iii) In its original watch box, with tags includes, and; iv) Free from alterations, such as resizing, link removals & engravings, and; v) Returned within 30 days of delivery, and; vi) Returned with a receipt or proof of purchase.

Customers pay for return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

WILL MY WATCH COME IN A BOX? All our watches come in an original branded watch box, with all original packaging, instructions manuals and international warranty card. Your watch will come with the same box that you would receive if purchasing from any retail store.

ARE YOUR WATCHES GENUINE? All the watches we sell are 100% genuine. We source our watches exclusively from the authorised distributor of each brand. All our watches come with original packaging and international warranties.

If you live in a regional or remote area, it will take longer. During peak Christmas times, deliveries may take longer. On rare occasions, some parcels may be delayed by New Zealand customs.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST? The Watch Factory offers express delivery to every address in New Zealand for $15.00. We ship using Australia Post International Express which is trackable and requires signature upon delivery. Your order may incur GST, customs charges and duties charged by the NZ Customs Service. These charges must be paid by the recipient directly to the NZ Customs Service. The Watch Factory is not responsibility for and will not reimburse any of these costs. HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER? Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a tracking number by email that you can use to follow your order’s shipment. You can track your order here.

WILL I NEED TO PAY GST, CUSTOMS DUTIES & CHARGES? Orders shipped to New Zealand for an amount more than of NZ$350 including shipping charges may incur GST, customs charges and duties. The general amount of these charges is about 20% of the dollar amount of the order plus shipping. However, this is just a general guideline and you should refer to NZ Customs Service' What's My Duty? Estimator to calculate charges that may be due. Orders shipped to New Zealand may incur GST, customs charges and duties charged by the NZ Customs Service once the parcel reaches its destination port and these charges must be paid by the recipient directly to the NZ Customs Service. The Watch Factory is not responsibility for and will not reimburse any of these costs. Please note that separate orders placed on the same day may be subject to New Zealand GST, charges and duties. The Watch Factory cannot control and is not responsible for any duties, taxes or charges applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEM? If you have received a watch that is damaged or faulty, please contact us via Trade me or by sending us an email to mailto:support@watchfactory.com.au. We will quickly help to resolve the issue and we will give you options for a replacement watch or a refund, whichever is most convenient for you.

DO YOUR WATCHES COME WITH WARRANTIES? Yes, all our watches come with international manufacturer’s warranties. The length of warranty depends on the brand of your watch. Most warranties are for 1-2 years, please view the product page to see check the warranty that comes with the watch you’re interested in. A warranty booklet will be inside your watch box, or the warranty details will be available online from the manufacturer's website. The warranty defines which issues are covered under warranty and which issues are not covered under warranty. The warranty for every watch brand is different and you need to refer to your watch's warranty for more information.

CAN I RETURN AN ITEM THAT I DON’T LIKE? We offer a 30-day returns period to send your item back for a refund or exchange. All returns must be in perfect condition with the watch box and packaging. Return postage is paid by the buyer. Please contact us to organise a return.

CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM FOR SOMETHING ELSE? Provided that the returned item hasn’t been worn or damaged, you can exchange it for another item. Please contact us so we can organise this for you.

HOW WILL I BE REFUNDED? You will be refunded via the same payment method you used to make the purchase. It may take several working days for the refund to appear in your account after we’ve received your return.
