GST Tax Invoices:

We are a GST registered company and tax invoices are provided only on request.

NZ Post is used for most smaller items under 3.0kgs in weight, this is a non tracked service but can be upgraded to a tracked service for a small fee (Rural surcharge may apply)

Medium sized parcels up to 5.0kgs can be sent on NZ Post tracked service.

Larger items (Over .025m3 or + 5.0kgs) are sent with Fastway couriers or Freight Lines depending on the size, weight and destination of your order.

Shipping prices are shown on each listing and can be confirmed in the checkout before making payment.

Shipping times are between 3 to 5 business days depending on the size of the item and your location. Urgent couriers can be arranged at special request, but at the buyer’s expense. We are not able to cater for Saturday deliveries.

Larger carrier items such as chicken coops and extra large incubators go to the nearest depot to ensure we offer the best available shipping prices. Please contact us for a quote and your nearest depot address.

Pickups are available from our store in Christchurch City, 206 Wordsworth Street during business hours only; 9:00-05:30PM Monday – Friday.

We offer a 30 day returns policy for most items provided they are in unused, resalable condition.

The 30 day right of return starts from the date delivered or collected and items must be received back before the end of the 30 day period. All returns must come back in unused, resalable condition in original packaging.

We offer a minimum 12 month warranty on most products. Some products come with up to 3 years factory backed warranties, please check the specific item. Healthcare products such as internal and external wormers, mineral supplements, and mite / lice products are excluded from these warranties.

We will repair or replace faulty goods within their warranty period. Exclusions will be made in the case of damages to or misuse of the item, problems caused by the user or misuse of the items, negligent operation, inadequate maintenance, commercial use or unauthorised repairs and modifications.

Warranty returns must first be approved by a Chook Manor staff member prior to returning faulty goods.

Our team of experts will organise a suitable solution for you depending on the issue. In the case of repair you will be required to return the unit. We will then repair and/or replace the item and get it back to you within a reasonable timeframe.

Shipping costs will only be covered by a case by case basis.
