Warranty Our inexpensive Trademe auctions are carpet remnants made up of overruns, seconds, withdrawn lines and the like. Remnant stock is not subject to any manufacturer’s warranty, but we offer 12 months DIY Flooring warranty on defects except where they are noted in the listing.

Where product is first grade stock with full manufacturer’s warranty this will be specifically noted in the listing.

Returns Returns will only be accepted where goods are faulty (excluding where faults are noted in the listing). We are absolutely committed to the Consumer Guarantees Act, but more than that we are also committed to providing you great products at a great price with great service and integrity but you must be aware that all sales are final and returns will not be accepted unless they are faulty.

For returns on faulty goods; Local deliveries (Wellington delivery options in the listing): DIY Flooring will pick up the carpet at our cost. Intercity deliveries (any quoted freight price): The customer must return the goods at their cost. Other (collection or delivery arranged by you): The customer must return the goods at their cost.

In all cases, items will be checked for faults before refunds are processed. If no fault is found the product will be returned to the customer (the return freight/delivery cost must be paid before item is sent).

Goods must be inspected within 24 hours of delivery. Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery and all packaging must be kept for us to show the carrier. Photos are required to assess a damage claim.

Our address for pickup is Unit 1, 59 Takapu Road in Tawa, Wellington. We are on the Grenada North side of the motorway just past Jamaica Drive - the last commercial building on the left, a big green warehouse. Our signs are easily visible from the road.

We are open Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. You can turn up any time during these hours, we always have staff on site.
